About

Located on the busy corner of Wall Street and National Avenue in historic downtown Fort Scott, Kansas. The Boiler Room Brewhaus is located in the former classic 1950's motor lodge 'The Downtowner'. Featuring fresh craft beer made on site. Brewery tours and tastings available by appointment or during normal hours. Not a beer drinker? No problem, we have soft drinks, wine and whiskey.

In 2012 the Ritters moved to a little 80-acre farm to, 'Help save the honey bee.' 5 years later and now they use the honey ingredients in the craft beer. When they are not taking care of the bee hives, the Ritter's are creating new craft beers or running the microbrewery!

Come for the brew, stay for the atmosphere!

This place is great! I live in Kansas City and love the microbrewery scent there. This place is definitely on my list of places to come back. If you like good craft beer and a great atmosphere then this is where you need to come. The owners are amazing people and will sit down and tell you all about this town.

Local Friends! The Boiler Room Brewhaus!! I know I’ve mentioned our love for this place, before, but I wanted to tell you a little bit about it. Barbara and Bryan Ritter are not only great people, but are very dedicated to making the best possible beer (and selling other craft beers). Moreover, when one visits the Boiler Room, you’ll find you leave as a friend. Very few establishments can say that. Boiler Room is not a “bar”. To me, it’s a Mecca of family friendly visiting and fun. A place where adults can enjoy a great beer, wine, mixed drink, or soft drink, while the kids enjoy board games, shuffleboard, and open spaces. Furry friends are welcome, too, so take Rover along! Root beer fans will find the finest mug of root beer around. Excellent hot and cold snacks are available, as well. Folks who like to order in can order from one of several delivery menus, or bring in food. Karaoke on Friday nights (heck, every night, if that’s what you’re into) really cool team trivia on Sundays at 5:00, and the genuinely nicest clientele you’d ever want to find. Our family has made great friends at Boiler Room. It’s truly like a family of friends. If your taste in establishments is toward a “Cheers” type place, where folks know your name, greet you with a smile, and really want to hear about your day, life, etc., you truly owe it to yourself to check out the Boiler Room Brewhaus in Fort Scott. (#2 S. National). We’ll probably see you there!
